2 weeks agoby darby.duggerThis picture takes my breath away. When Jonah was only a few weeks old, the Lord whispered to me that He was going to send Jonah to another country as a missionary. If you ask Jonah today what he wants to be when he grows up, he will tell you a "Real Life Power Ranger" but I pray daily that Jonah will surrender his plans and follow the Lord wherever He leads.
5 days agoby darby.dugger"For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not in cleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ would not be made void. For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. ... And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God." ~ 1 Corinthians 1:17-18,…
1 week agoby darby.duggerWhen I was a little girl, we drove past this castle to get to school and to my grandparents house. When it went up for sale in the 80's I begged my parents to buy it. This place has held a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember and yet I've never step foot inside. That's all about to change, though, because we just reserved a room there! Jason's taking me there next month to celebrate our anniversary. So excited!!!! Countdown is on!
2 weeks agoby darby.duggerPraying for the world to know Christ and for the workers He is sending. Excited, as always, for the Global Missions Health Conference!
2 weeks agoby darby.duggerTook this special girl on a date to celebrate her turning 9 last week. Jason is seriously the best dad in the world to get into the tea parlor scene.
2 weeks agoby darby.duggerLike the dancing shadow of a flickering candle, life goes by so quickly. Day-night. Day-night. Day-night. The times when I make decisions which keep me charging ahead at full speed... I miss so much. I don't listen well to my children or notice the intentionality my husband puts towards our relationship. Jason cut these flowers from our garden and arranged them neatly in a vase for me. A little way to show me he loves me and is thinking about me. It took me TWO days to notice and another day to express my appreciation. Often I won't notice Jason…
Praying that God will provide a witness against our husbands should they ever be untrue to God (Joshua 24:27).Yesterday at 1:18 pm
