I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive. I will set junipers in the wasteland, the fir and the cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it. ~ Isaiah 41:18-20
Father God, You alone are the answer to my husband’s desert places. I invite You to come and fill the voids that are in his life. May he drink the water You offer so that he will not thirst again (John 4:14). For the areas of his life that are dry and parched, I ask for rivers of Your living water will flow within him (John 7:38). As your quench his thirst I pray that people may see and know, consider and understand, that You are doing a great work in him (Isaiah 41:20). In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.
