Welcome to Pray-Day Thursday!
This week we are praying that God will use what has hurt our husbands for His good and glory.
Dear Lord, whenever my husband feels poor in spirit, I pray that he will consider himself blessed (Matthew 5:3). When darkness covers him, please provide Your glory to appear over him (Isaiah 60:2). Help my husband to trust in you, even during difficult times, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love and that you bestow a crown of beauty rather than ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair (Romans 8:28 & Isaiah 61:3). Father God, when Satan intends to harm my husband, I pray You will use that evil and intend it for good; to accomplish the saving of many lives (Genesis 50:20). Thank You for being faithful and trustworthy, Lord. You alone can repay my husband for the years the locusts have eaten, and so I ask that he will praise Your name for working wonders for his life as he trusts You to make everything beautiful in its time (Joel 2:25-26 & Ecclesiastes 3:11).
