Darby’s greatest passion is using her God-given gift of public speaking to cultivate healthy marriages and encourage women to pray fervently for their husbands. Darby intentionally crafts each of her messages in a way that exposes her areas of weakness so that the audience will easily relate to her words. Darby would be honored to share with your church, women’s event, or conference (her availability is limited, so contact her today!)
Avoiding a Child-Centered Home
Written specifically for a MOPS (or similar group) audience, Darby equips young mothers with the tools necessary to avoid having a child-centered marriage. Speaking as a busy mother of five young children, Darby shares the reality that her children can easily become her primary focus. In order to rectify this situation, Darby offers the audience successful solutions on how to keep their marriage relationship the first priority.
1 Corinthians 13
Perfect for an audience of any age, Darby journeys through the Scriptural definition of love found in 1 Corinthians 13 and highlights many areas where wives commonly fail to love their husbands according to God’s Word. This humorous and light hearted presentation ends with a powerful reminder of God’s perfect love for every person and how it is only by accepting His love that wives will be able to fully love their husbands.
Loving Your Husband Well
Being a Godly wife can be difficult. It requires time, commitment, change, and a daily choice to work towards God’s best in one’s marriage. For some wives, the path to a godly marriage can be confusing. Thanks to Darby’s Loving Your Husband Well talk, women will have a guide to achieving God’s design for their marriage.
Connecting With Your Spouse
Two people who fall in love will naturally drift apart, unless they are intentional about staying connected. In this thirty-minute speech, Darby highlights the importance of physical, emotional, and spiritual intimacy in marriage. She offers several ways that a wife can stay connected to her husband regardless of their season of life, and she emphases the necessity of connection between spouses.
Darby is often invited to lead pastor wives, church leaders, and women’s groups in a night of prayer for their husbands. She begins the night with a reminder that husbands are under a constant spiritual battle, and the sets the stage for the night by sharing specific Scriptures and themes that are important in the lives of men. The rest of her time is spent leading the women in Scripture-based prayers for their husbands.
